IB Programs

Families relocating to the UK may be interested in enrolling their children in an American school or IB program. These programs offer a special curriculum that may be more consistent with their studies in the US.

IB Programs in the UK:

The International Baccalaureate (IB) program is offered and highly respected in both the US and the UK. Founded in the 1960s, the IB Organization grew out of international schools' efforts to establish a common curriculum, fulfilling university entrance requirements for geographically mobile students. The IB Diploma program is a rigorous pre-university course of study for students aged 16 to 18, and is accepted by various national systems of higher education. The IB program also offers a Primary Years Program (PYP) and a Middle Years Program (MYP) for younger students aged 3 to 15.
