The London Press Club welcomes as members those with an interest in journalism and the media including past and present journalists, broadcasters, designers, cartoonists and corporate communicators. Since 1881, it has been an independent association for freethinking and respected journalists bringing together people in a variety of ways to increase their collective influence. It aspires to be the most powerful club of journalists in the world.

Other popular events include the Christmas lunch, regular monthly drinks evenings in and around Fleet Street and the London Press Club Charity Ball, in aid of the Journalist’s Charity.
