With a shared purpose to invest in current and future leaders, Fulbright and Common Purpose have teamed up to offer American Fulbright Scholars leadership development short-courses at a hugely reduced rate.
Common Purpose was founded in 1989 and now runs programmes in 70 locations and regions in 12 countries around the world. Over 25,000 leaders have participated in Common Purpose programmes.
Common Purpose helps people in leadership and decision-making positions to be more effective: in their own organisations, in the community and in society as a whole. It runs a variety of programmes for leaders of all ages, backgrounds and sectors, in order to provide them with the knowledge, connections and inspiration they need to make change happen.
In the UK, more than 70% of FTSE 100 companies, as well as many smaller organisations, have used Common Purpose to develop their leaders. They, and their organisations, consistently report better strategic thinking, better decision-making, dramatically enhanced leadership competencies and a greater ability to apply them in new situations as a result of their experience of Common Purpose.
