Keele’s beautiful, spacious and peaceful campus is the perfect place to concentrate on your studies. Keele has a well-stocked library in the middle of the campus, with online resources as well as books and CD-ROMs, and all the study bedrooms have data points so you can access the Internet from your room. This makes it very convenient for you to get all the information you need for your course.

• Keele is one of the UK’s largest and most attractive university campuses, with 650 acres of landscaped parkland, fields, woodland and lakes.
• Keele is a research-led university, with excellent teaching quality and graduate employment rates.
• There are about 600 full-time postgraduate taught course students on campus, and about the same number of postgraduate part-time taught students. The total number of full-time students is about 7,000. This size means that Keele is a genuine community on campus.
• The number of permanent academic staff employed at Keele is one of the highest in the UK, which means that there is consistency in the teaching and support.
• The Keele Postgraduate Association provides excellent social facilities for postgraduates, and also represents their interests to the University.
• There is an induction week for international postgraduates, giving information on academic requirements, support and other facilities, as well as allowing students to settle in at Keele and sort out practical issues before the start of teaching. The International Student Support Officer is available to help international students with any questions or issues they might have.
• English language support is available to all students during their studies.
• International postgraduate students are guaranteed accommodation on campus, provided they apply for this by 30 June.
• International Students can apply for Keele scholarships, worth up to £3,000 towards the cost of one year’s tuition fees.
• Keele offers excellent value for money: tuition and accommodation fees are competitive and there is no application fee.

Life at Keele

Keele University is located right in the middle of England, about 60 miles north of Birmingham and 60 miles south of Manchester. The University is on a very attractive campus site about 3 miles away from the town of Newcastle-under-Lyme, which means that the University buildings are all in one place and it is very easy to walk around the campus.

Keele benefits from a beautiful location but also has easy transport links to local towns and cities and to other parts of the country. This means that Keele students can enjoy visiting larger cities in the UK, without the cost of living there.
