Non-UK citizens are required to apply in their country of citizenship, even if they are resident in the UK.
The Commission selects scholars through a rigorous application and interview process throughout the year. Typical grants include a maintenance allowance and a contribution towards tuition fees where applicable. Postgraduate student grantees also receive additional US-based support from the Institute of International Education and distinguished scholars and fellows from the Council for the International Exchange of Scholars.
