We have given a rough time scale that corresponds with each of the following Guide sections. The recommended EAS Guide time scale assumes that you will start at a US university in August or September. If you are planning to start in January, the process can be significantly shortened, as application deadlines are much closer to enrolment dates.

London College Day

Attend our annual USA College Day fair in Greater London where you can meet 100 US university representatives and other exhibitors face-to-face.

Acceptances and Rejections
2-4 months before beginning your study
Once you have decided which institution you will attend, notify them of your decision and return any official documents. Also send letters of regret to any institutions you reject.

Visas
2-4 months before beginning your study
We give you the basic information on applying for visas to study in the US.
