Application forms for the Distinguished Scholars,
AstraZeneca Scholar and Police Fellowships are no
longer available. Please check back after May 2008
for announcement of the 2009-2010 Awards cycle.
Please note: Information on this page is not
applicable to the NICS Research Fellowship scheme.

Forms also can be collected from the Educational
Advisory Service during opening hours.
Completing the Application Form
The form should be typewritten (please use a font
other than Arial). Eight copies of the application
form should be returned to the Fulbright Commission
by the advertised closing date.
Do
not leave any fields blank. If a field is not applicable,
please indicate by writing N/A.
Applications
sent by fax, email or which arrive late will not be
considered. Please do not fold the forms,
have them bound, or put cover sheets on them and please
ensure that you attach sufficient postage. We will
not accept excess charges from the Post Office for
items of mail which have been underpaid.
Please
include a self-addressed, stamped postcard if you
would like acknowledgement that we have received your
application.

What Happens
Next?
• After shortlisting, applicants will be notified
by letter whether they will be invited for interview.
•
All interviews are held at Fulbright House in London.
There are no exceptions and we do not conduct telephone
interviews with candidates living abroad. Economy
class travel from outside London is reimbursed by
the Fulbright Commission. If you are travelling from
abroad, please contact the Fulbright Commission before
making arrangements.
•
Please be prepared to receive as little as a week's
notice before your interview.
•
In most cases, candidates will be notified within
10 days of the interview whether they are successful.
