Seminars

The Commission offers two-hour seminars on undergraduate and postgraduate study opportunities in the US, as well as pre-departure orientations for students preparing to begin their US degree course. Attendees at each type of seminar have the opportunity to speak with our team of advisors and collect relevant reference materials.

 

Undergraduate Study in the US Seminar:

This seminar offers a comprehensive view of the undergraduate admissions process, providing a step-by-step guide to the application process, admissions exams (SAT, SAT Subject Tests and ACT), choosing the right institution, funding opportunities and visas.

Please note while open to all students, parents and advisors, this seminar may be best-suited for students who have completed a UK or IB curriculum and are interested in US study from the academic year 2011-12 and beyond.

UK Fulbright Awards Webinar

If you were unable to attend USA Grad School Day, but would like to learn more about the Fulbright Awards, then you may wish to participate with the UK Fulbright Award Webinar. This webinar will provide an overview of the UK Awards including eligibility, benefits and application components.

Postgraduate Study in the US Seminar:

This seminar offers a comprehensive view of the postgraduate admissions process, providing a step-by-step guide to the application process, admissions exams (GRE, etc), choosing the right institution, funding opportunities and visas.

Date: Our next postgraduate study seminar will be offered in autumn 2010. Students are encouraged to attend our USA Grad School Day event this spring to learn more about postgraduate study options.

Pre-departure Information Session:
