
Christopher Cahill is currently an Associate professor of Chemistry at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. He received a B.S. in Chemistry and Geochemistry from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Fredonia and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from SUNY-Stony Brook. He is an expert in crystallography and hydrothermal syntheses, yet has broadened his horizons with this Fulbright opportunity by studying the optical properties of these and related materials.
