Fulbright Project: Masters in Environmental Studies, SUNY-ESF

After completing secondary school in the Netherlands, Anna Davidson embarked on a degree in Sociology and Politics at the University of Edinburgh. On graduating she was elected as Vice President Academic Affairs of the Edinburgh University Students' Association. Anna gained recognition for her work as Vice President and publication of a paper in a peer reviewed journal by being awarded the University of Edinburgh's 2008 Sir William Darling Memorial prize. Since leaving Edinburgh she has undertaken a solo 1000km cycling tour to raise money for a school in Tanzania, and has worked as a carbon footprint analyst, a ski instructor and an interpreter in a whale museum on Vancouver Island. As a Fulbright scholar Anna will be pursuing a Masters in Environmental Studies at SUNY-ESF in Syracuse.
