Partnership Opportunities

Fulbright University Partnerships

The Fulbright Commission is eager to join in partnership with UK and US higher education institutions (HEIs) to promote international education and support Fulbright scholars in Britain and in the United States. We currently work with a number of University Partners throughout the UK.

UK-US University Partnerships

Additionally, the British Council recently launched the UK-US New Partnerships Fund, a $500,000 program to develop new strategic links between British and American HEIs. For US universities, colleges, and community colleges, the fund provides an opportunity to commence new partnerships with UK universities. Although the initial grant application must be made by a UK institution in cooperation with a US partner, once the proposal has been approved both parties will receive access to funding.

The Fulbright Commission is able to assist in this process and make introductions and recommendations in developing proposals.

Other Partnership Opportunities

There are many ways that individuals and organisations can support the US-UK Fulbright Awards Programme. We work with institutions to provide added-value to our Scholars' Fulbright Year, we design sponsored research programmes and we work in collaboration to provide scholars with outstanding cultural enrichment events.
